That's how I feel. I had forgotten just how sick I get when pregnant. It started a little over a week ago and shows no sign of stopping any time soon.
:x
Hope to be back to normal soon. Until then...

Mini Update
Whew! What a whirlwind week this has been. Last weekend we worked feverishly to get things ready for "A-au" (Papaw) and "NuNu"'s (Nana) visit. They arrived very, very early Wednesday morning and left early this afternoon. We had such a good time and now I am trying not to be sad because it's over. We didn't really do anything to spectacular because the weather was pretty nasty the whole time they were here. We did make it up to Independence and got to visit the Harry Truman house. It was very interesting and was something my dad wanted to see. Other than that we just stayed around the house enjoying each other's company, eating way too much and trying to keep warm.
I had a doctor's appointment on Monday and an ultrasound on Friday. Turns out I'm not quite as far along as I thought, but not off by much. This baby is due on October 13th, which puts me around 7 weeks pregnant. It still amazes me how something so small (about the size of a blueberry right now) can cause sooooo many changes.
I haven't done laundry in almost a week I think, so I must go tackle that before it overtakes the house. I'm sure hubby will appreciated the clean clothes too.
Have a wonderful weekend!

No, I haven't fallen off the face of the Earth
But, thank you for asking.
I'm okay. I have been dealing with the start of morning (noon and night) sickness the past week. It hasn't been terrible yet, and I am taking it's presence as a welcome sign of a healthy pregnancy. I'm trying to look on the bright side.
Not much else is going on here. Snow, rain, wind, snow, snow, rain. You get the idea.
We are getting ready for some visitors on Wednesday which we are very, very, very excited about. For those of you who may not have had the pleasure of discovering this for yourself, getting and maintaining a clean house is extremely close to impossible with a toddler in the house.
Since I'm a little lacking in the eloquent speach category today, I will leave you with this lovely doodad. Go ahead. Give it a try if you want.

A Week of Firsts
This week has been filled with some "firsts" that quite honestly have been too much for this emotional momma. I usually like to introduce myself to new things by taking baby steps, gradually working my way into new situations. That just didn't happen this week.
For the first time ever I:
-was away from my baby for longer than one hour
--the first time was to decorate a birthday cake for a friend (4 hours)
--the second was yesterday, which we will come to in a minute
-held one baby in my arms while another one was in my belly
-was home without Tyler
-took my baby to a babysitter
--A dear friend offered to watch him while I got some much needed rest. But, it was sooooooo hard to walk away and leave him at somebody else's house. (4 1/2 hours)
So today I am awake early; watching him sleep, listening to him breathe, smelling his sweet baby aroma, enjoying every blessed moment of being his mother.

I've got a secret
And, it's killing me!! So I'm gonna tell you. But only you. You have to promise not to tell anyone else.
Sshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. Psalm 127:3
