Gonna Save You $$Millions$$
I know. Who among us has millions to save??
Anyway, on to my helpful tip. They next time you get a tough stain on your carpet try this. Pour just enough rubbing alcohol on the stain to cover it. Let it soak for 1-5 minutes and then rub clean with a dry washcloth.
This works really well. I have used it to get up several "baby stains".

Be Careful Out There
I was blog surfing the other day when I ran across a couple of blogs that I really enjoyed. They seemed to be full of useful information on homemaking, cooking, cleaning, frugality, etc. I really enjoy blogs like these because these are areas that I want to improve at. So for about a week or so I would check in with these blogs. A few days ago when Tyler was taking an extended nap, I decided to read a little deeper into these blogs. What I found was pretty disturbing. These women (2 in particular), were presenting (pushing) some false teachings in a very bossy, condescending and yet very educated (sounding) way. There was much controversy going on in the comments of these posts. Women with questions or concerns were treated as purely stupid for not "knowing".
I am so glad that I am saved and not still seeking the truth amidst all the doctrines out there, by which Satan seeks to confuse us to the point of giving up.
So, I think my blog surfing days are over with for a while. I'll stick to what I know. Most people who read my blog are either (a) not going to go blog surfing anyway, or (b) too smart to get caught up in that stuff anyway. But, alas, I share my word of warning with you anyway. Remember, the evil one comes disguised as good.
In other news-Retired USMC Col. J. Tyler Ryberg will be speaking at our church tonight about the Biblical Truths About Fighting the War on Terrorism. Should be good. I will be in the nursery tonight, so I will have to watch it on the 'net tomorrow. If your interested in checking it out, you can by visiting the "Sermons" section on the website http://www.cbckn.org/

I decided to crawl off my death bed...
to say hi!
Okay, so I wasn't really on my death bed. I have been pretty sick though. That little "cold" I had really did a number on me. I lost my voice for about a week, which I'm sure hubby appreciated. ;) But worse than that was the extreme fatigue I've been experiencing. It's been awful. I really feel like I've been running on 5-10% of my normal energy level. It's getting a little better now, but I'm still no where near completely back to normal.
I went to the doctor last week because I wanted to make sure that it wasn't strep throat. My throat hurt so, so, so bad. It was the worst sore throat I ever remember having. Good news-it wasn't strep! Yay! Praise the Lord for that. If it had been, I more than likely would have had to stop nursing cold turkey because of the antibiotics I would have to be on. However, the bad news was that there was absolutely nothing she could give me (prescription or OTC) because I am nursing. Oh well. Guess I'll just have to let this one run its course.
So, does anybody know of any good herbs or vitamins for energy? I'm already taking a prenatal vitamin and caffeine is a definite no for me. :)

Please Pray
Hello all. I just received this email from a dear friend in Tennessee.
hey, so dad was working in upstate NewYork and he fell off of a truck today
and got hurt.Thomas took him to the hospital b/c he couldn't walk and was in
a
lot of pain... Well, he broke his hip in 3 places and they did surgery...
well mom is trying her hardest to get there but is having a hard time doing
it... I took her to Nashville to get a flight (Knoxville no help at all!!!)
but
she is now stuck in Charlotte on a delay and she is just totally a
nervous
wreck!! thankfully Tenika is with her but i feel so bad that i
cannot be with
her right now... but after they get there and are able to get
dad released in a
few days the hard part is going to be getting him home
safely and easily... i
honestly do not know how it is going to happen
because with a broke hip and just
having surgery that is going to be majorly
tough!! please keep them both in your
prayers....
Please, if you could, remember this family in prayer.

I'm Alive!!
That really is great news isn't it? Well, really. It is...
Time has been flying by, as usual, on this vacation. We had such a wonderful time visiting our friends in Massachusetts. It was so beautiful there! I couldn't believe it. I want to go back so bad. I will post lots of pictures and details when I get back home.
We are now in Tennessee visiting family. We are also all sick. I think it's just a cold, but it's very bad. Ty-Boo has it worst of all. Poor guy is so snotty and congested. I am sick. Most of my family is too. Yucky!
We will be heading back to Kansas City on Saturday evening. I can't wait to catch up on blogs when I get back. Missing you all. :)
**For all my Oki friends-I am going to try to visit with Bro. Dondee and Ms. Antonio's sister, Mrs. Holding, on Wednesday evening. Her husband was Keith's boss while we were at Kadena and she is living about 30 minutes away from here. Yay!

Go Ahead, Treat Yourself!
Did you know that a vanilla cone at McDonald's only has 150 calories and 3.5 grams of fat?? That makes me so happy! I love their ice cream but very rarely ever indulge myself because I figured it was packed full of fat. After a quick trip to the nutrition info section at mcdonalds.com, I found out differently. Go ahead, check out your favorites. You may be surprised, or scared...

Just a Thought
Is it a coincidence that "Garage Sale" is only one letter away from being "GARBAGE Sale"????
Hmmmm, just thought of that as I was preparing for my own garage sale.
